Psychological features of job satisfaction with the heads of internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation

Abstract (English):
Abstract: Job satisfaction is a key phenomenon that affects the effectiveness of an organization. Studies of this issue are currently extensive and informative, but there are still psychological processes, underlying the satisfaction with the work of the heads of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation, which were not given sufficient attention. The presented work is aimed at partially filling the gaps in this area. Methodology. The study involved the heads of structural divisions of territorial, educational, scientific, medical organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia with different service life (n = 180). In the process of empirical research, descriptive statistics, Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, r-Spearman test, Mann–Whitney U-test, univariate analysis of variance were used. The results of the study were processed using the IBM SPSS Statistics 21 application package. Results. The study showed that the heads of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation, on the one hand, are satisfied with their professional and service activities, and on the other hand, with an increase in the length of service in a managerial position, destructive moments, related to satisfaction in the professional field, appear. Analysis of the results revealed that satisfaction with achievements in work has a significant positive relationship with gender. The article outlines the points of practical application of the results of the study and further ways of developing this problem.
