Abstract:
Introduction. The problem of self-awareness studying, including professional awareness, is recognised as a significant issue by researchers in many countries around the world, but there is little research on assessment of dynamics and development of the structural organisation of professional identity of professional service subjects. The article substantiates the importance of work related to a psychologist’s activities organisation in assessing the development of professional self-awareness of cadets, the author’s program and methods of empirical research on the structural organisation dynamics of professional self-awareness of subjects of service activity are presented. The structural organisation of professional identity is revealed as a system consisting of six interrelated components (cognitive, reflexive, motivational, emotional, regulatory, and activity), which reveals the scope and internal structure of professional self-awareness through the pointing out the indicators included, the methods for researching the structure of professional self-awareness have been specified. This work contributed to the creation of a theoretical model for the professional self-awareness development, explaining the relationships between indicators and revealed levels of their development, gain new knowledge for the implementation of correction and further development of different indicators of service activity subjects’ professional self-awareness in the context of educational and service activities. The work carried out serves as a means to achieve the main objective of the research – development of a structural-dynamic concept of professional self-awareness of professional service activity subjects. The developed program allows a comprehensive evaluation of the studied phenomenon, identification of individual characteristics of the student’s personality and group tendencies. The study shows the advantages and limitations of studying professional self-awareness under an authoring program compared to the previously studied experience of such psychological work, and indicates the need for developing programs, promoting the development of professional self-awareness of professional service activity subjects. Methods. Methods of generalisation, analysis of reference, scientific, educational and methodological psychological literature, testing, survey were used in the study. Results. Psychological methods, surveys, tests and scales are provided to assess the indicators of professional self-awareness of cadets and to identify group trends. It is shown that the structure of professional self-awareness of cadets can be seen as a complex personal entity, which must be adjusted and developed in a timely manner in the context of the educational process and professional service activities.
