Method of situational modeling in the comprehensive training of police officers for the use of administrative coercion measures
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
Introduction. One of the ways to prepare police officers for operational and service tasks is comprehensive (fire, physical and tactical-special) training. The practice of service activities shows that in situations of applying administrative coercion measures, a large number of motor skills and abilities previously formed in classes on various types of professional training are used. Consequently, comprehensive training allows simultaneously using the means of physical, fire and tactical-special training, as well as first aid to form the professional competencies necessary for a police officer. The method of situational modeling provides an opportunity to construct models of service activities. The article presents the results of analytical work on studying the use of the method of situational modeling from the point of view of historical development and practical experience of police training in Russia and abroad. Methods. The study included an analysis of regulatory legal acts, dissertations, scientific articles, educational and methodological materials. To study the practice of using the method of situational modeling, a survey of employees of territorial divisions of the Ministry of the Interior of Russia was conducted. Results. The analytical work allowed us to study the practice of using the situational modeling method in the professional training of employees of domestic internal affairs agencies from the 20th century to the present. In addition, the content of professional training of law enforcement officers abroad was studied. It is assumed that the results of the analytical work will serve as a basis for the creation and implementation of a technology for comprehensive training of Russian police officers in the use of administrative coercion measures based on the situational modeling method.
