FEATURES OF SOME OPERATIONAL INVESTIGATIVE MEASURES CARRIED OUT IN ORDER TO IDENTIFY PERSONS DISTRIBUTING NARCOTIC DRUGS, PSYCHOTROPIC SUBSTANCES AND THEIR ANALOGUES

Abstract (English):
Introduction. The article analyzes the features of certain operational investigative measures carried out within the framework of bringing to criminal responsibility persons distributing narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues. The methods and techniques of counteraction provided to employees of operational units of the internal affairs bodies by the organizers of the drug business are being investigated. The emphasis is placed on conducting operational investigative activities using the Internet information network. Research methods. The work used a general scientific dialectical method of cognition of the surrounding reality, which involves a complete and comprehensive study of phenomena, consideration of connections and contradictions between them. In addition, the method of description was used; the method of logical comprehension. A comprehensive analysis of statistical data characterizing both the general dynamics of IT crimes and the number of crimes related to the sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues has been carried out. Results. The author considers in detail not only the main methods of manufacturing caches in which "bookmarks" with drugs are placed, but also ways to counteract these processes by employees of operational units of internal affairs bodies. Based on the accumulated experience and knowledge gained regarding operational investigative measures, the article summarizes the features of their implementation on the Internet.
