Abstract:
The article presents the results of the author's analysis of the use of personal armor protection by law enforcement officers (on the example of the patrol service of the Office of the Ministry of Interior of Russia in the Omsk Region and a special rapid response unit of the Office of the Russian Guard in the Omsk Region) when performing their service and combat tasks. The advantages and disadvantages of body armor used in the activities of these units are described. The author offers recommendations, the practical implementation of which can help improve the efficiency of the use of personal armor protection by law enforcement officers.
