Abstract (English):
Introduction. The article is dedicated to a comprehensive study of the ethical and legal issues arising from intimate interactions between humans and anthropomorphic robots, from the perspectives of criminal law, criminology, and victimology. The lack of a systematic approach to this phenomenon creates legal gaps that could potentially catalyse deviant behaviour and criminogenic situations. The presented research focuses on the following interconnected aspects: the legal status of robots, the regulation of their production and use, and the potential criminal legal consequences The authors identify existing legal gaps and propose possible models of normative legal regulation while forecasting trends in law enforcement in the context of technological convergence. Methods. The materials for this work include provisions of Russian and foreign legislation, as well as theoretical views of authors who have explored similar topics. The reliability of the obtained results is ensured by studying doctrine and practice, alongside the use of general scientific and specific scientific methods of cognition: logical, formal-legal, comparative-legal, systematic-structural, and other methods of scientific inquiry. Results. The presented research lays the groundwork for further studies aimed at addressing the ethical and legal issues of intimate interaction between robots and humans. The conclusions drawn are significant for improving the legal framework surrounding robotics and artificial intelligence technologies in the realm of intimate interaction with humans and establish the foundations for ethical regulation.
